School for Johns: Reports and Critiques
| Below
are critiques of THEIR 'Schools for
Johns,' part of a repressive trend in law enforcement which unfairly scapegoats
clients and male sexuality. Clients are entrapped in prostitution stings
and coerced into paying a large fee ($1000 in San Francisco) to be insulted
and chastised as part of a diversion program. The SWOP-USA (OUR)
John's School is THE OPPOSITE, a supportive program in which
sex workers and clients can learn from each other in a sex-positive and
supportive atmosphere. |
